Abstract
The rates of infection of Clonorchis sinensis in 2001 fishes of 17 different species found in Dong-Chon area of the River Kumho and their seasonal variations were studied between March 1960 and March 1961.
Metacercaria of Clonorchis sinensis was found in all 15 species of fish studied but the rates of infection were remarkably lower in each species of fish compared to those of 1957.
Relatively higher rates of infection were found in the species of Sarcocheilichthys wakiyae, Pungtungia herzi, Pseudorasbora parva and Gnathopogon coreanus than in others.
During winter a slightly lower rates of infection were noted in All species of fish studied than in other seasons of the year.
